Fast Business Visa Application: Is It Possible?

You are here: Home / Blog / Fast Business Visa Application: Is It Possible?

One of the most common questions clients ask us is, how long does it take to process a business visa in Indonesia? Let’s talk about numbers.

VALIDITY OF THE BUSINESS VISAS

An Indonesia business visa is either single or multiple entry. Almost always, new business travelers carry the single-entry visa, which is valid for 60 days. You can extend it by crossing the border within 60 days and coming back.

If you wish to get the multiple-entry business visa, you can do so with the help of a reliable visa solutions partner such as us in Cekindo. You may also apply for one once you receive three stamps. With this type of visa, you can travel to the country every 60 days for 12 months.

PROCESSING TIME

Processing time can take about 1 to 2 weeks for the following reasons:

Invitation – If you’re travelling to Indonesia for business, you need to have an invitation from your sponsor. It can be a foreign or local company, an organization, or a representative office.

The sponsor writes the invitation and sends it to the Immigration Authority in Jakarta for approval. Only when it is approved can you process your business visa. This entire procedure usually takes around 3 to 5 working days.

However, the Immigration Authority imposes a daily quota for invitations. Currently, it approves only 500 daily, and considering the number of people who wish to travel here, it gets filled up very quickly. Once the immigration reached its quota, it processes your invitation the following business day.

Business Visa Application – If the invitation is approved, the Immigration Authority will then send it via telex to your preferred embassy, which will then process your business visa within the next 3 to 5 working days. If you’re already in the country, the nearest options will be either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, or Singapore.

How Can Cekindo Get You a Business Visa Indonesia Fast

Cekindo is a global business solutions partner that helps thousands of business travellers get their Indonesia visa fast. We can help you by:

·      Sponsoring the visit – This is highly recommended if you’re an individual who wish to visit the country for business reasons but don’t have a sponsor yet. We also extend these services  through our HR Outsourcing if you wish to bring an individual into the country for the same reason. In Indonesia, only companies or organisations can be sponsors.

·      Processing the invitation promptly – One of the biggest challenges in getting the business visa in Indonesia is the daily quota for invitations. The longer it takes to submit the invitation, the longer you have to wait. We provide professional support for sponsors by making sure we can process your invitations in a more efficient and timely manner.

·     Guiding you through the entire process – Getting an Indonesia business visa doesn’t need to be difficult or stressful for you. Cekindo has many specialists who can provide you with sound  advice and support from the moment of application until you receive your business visa.

However, due to political issues, citizens of some restricted countries may have to go through a lengthier and more complex process of getting a business visa including requesting an authorization and receiving an approval from Indonesian Immigration. These places include Afghanistan, Guinea, Israel, North Korea, Cameroon, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, and Somalia.

Cekindo can help you with a fast business visa application by making the entire procedure more efficient and preventing the common causes of delay and rejection.
