Is A Virtual Office in Indonesia What You Need for Your Business?

You are here: Home / Blog / Is A Virtual Office in Indonesia What You Need for Your Business?

If you are now running a business in Indonesia, be it a start-up, a small business with only a few employees or even a big business, you must already know the importance of keeping your overheads and expenses low.

As most business owners would agree, one of the largest expenses for their businesses is rental expense, especially in a big city like Jakarta. That is why solutions are offered to entrepreneurs in order to avoid paying rent while still gaining all the benefits of a physical office space. One of the best solutions is called virtual office.

You may have already heard about virtual office as it has been on the rise for a long time. Not only a virtual office can help you carry on your business operations as usual, but it also reduces unnecessary overhead with the greatest flexibility.

This article elaborates essentials about virtual office. After reading through the article, you should be able to decide for yourself and your business if a virtual office in Indonesia is what you need.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL OFFICE?

A virtual office is a comprehensive service for businesses. It provides you with an office address without the physical space that is required by a traditional office.

A great virtual office should offer you a prestigious office address with a premium and easily accessible location. Moreover, an excellent virtual office provider should also provide work space and meeting space in case it is necessary, communication services such as dedicated business telephone, fax number and email, as well as various administration services such as reception service and calls and mail handling.

THE ROLES OF A VIRTUAL OFFICE IN MODERN BUSINESS

A virtual office is not only a popular workspace solution among digital nomads, freelancers and entrepreneurs who work from home or anywhere in the world, but it is also a creative way company uses to make their employees stay engaged without the constraints of a typical 9-to-5 job model.

Companies aim to cut unnecessary expenses from their budget and give employees the most flexibility to do their jobs more creatively, that in turn will result in decreasing the turnover rate.

More and more companies have reaped the benefits of what a virtual office can provide in order to compete in this modern business world. They also want their employees to know that they are in control of their own time: they can work anytime and anywhere they want to, or even work and travel at the same time.

With that being said, it gives remote employees bigger sense of self-discipline, motivation and responsibilities. Furthermore, the idea provides companies with a bigger pool of talents from all around the world.

Of course, it is normal that some traditional companies still fear that they will lose the connection with their clients and employees when they choose to use a virtual office and implement the ideas of remote work. This is not necessarily true because through all the advanced technology and communications provided, employers can still make clients feel that they are cared for as well as making the employees engaged and keep paced with tasks.

BENEFITS OF A VIRTUAL OFFICE

Many business owners and entrepreneurs love using virtual offices because they can balance their tasks and eliminate additional costs without leaving the comfort of their home.

Below we highlight the main benefits of using a virtual office that you need to consider for your business:

  • Owning a business address in a prestigious location
  • Cultivating a professional reputation through the digital advantages
  • Having clients and employees from across the globe without the constraint of being stuck in only one location like traditional business
  • Ability to meet up with clients or employees in person when necessary in a professional meeting room
  • Saving tons of time and expenses without the daily commute from home to work and vice versa
  • Cutting down or totally eliminating the unnecessary overhead of renting a brick-and-mortar space
