COVID-19 TRAVEL AND IMMIGRATION NOTICE Indonesia has closed its borders to foreign travelers.
Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No 27 of 2021, the Indonesian government has prohibited foreign nationals from entering Indonesia during the national lockdown (emergency PPKM) aside from a few exceptions.
As of 21 July 2021, foreigners than can enter Indonesia only include those that hold Diplomatic & Office Visas, Diplomatic and Official Residence Permits, Temporary Stay Permits (ITAS) & Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), those entering for humanitarian medical purposes approved by an official letter from authorities handling the COVID-19 outbreak, or active crew members that arrive by their transports.
